Maajaama talu \u00fcmbritsevatest erineva maakasutusega maastikest on kogutud mulla krohmseente elurikkuse DNA-p\u00f5hised andmed, mille anal\u00fc\u00fcsimisel magistrant saab osaleda v\u00f5i v\u00f5tta juhtrolli. Teemat on v\u00f5imalik arendada erinevatel viisidel, nt keskendudes maakasutuse (sh metsamajandamise) m\u00f5jule krohmseente elustikule, \u00fchiskonna teadmistele mullaelustiku kohta, erinevatele viisidele, kuidas tutvustada elurikkuse teemasid mittespetsialistidele jne. Uuringus v\u00f5etakse Eesti v\u00e4\u00e4rtuslike p\u00fcsirohumaade taimkatte andmed ning v\u00f5rreldakse neid DNA p\u00f5histe mullaelustiku andmetega (valikus seened, m\u00fckoriisaseened, nematoodid, l\u00fclijalgsed). Teema sobib magistritasemel t\u00f6\u00f6 tegemiseks ning h\u00f5lmab nii laborit\u00f6\u00f6d kui ka t\u00f6\u00f6d andmetega (sh bioinformaatika). Kaasaja intensiivp\u00f5llumajandusel on olnud negatiivne m\u00f5ju mitmete mullas elavate organismir\u00fchmade elurikkusele ja ohtrusele. Samas ei ole selge kuidas erinevad praktikad, sh positiivseks peetud harimisviisid, m\u00f5jutavad mullaelustiku poolt pakutavaid funktsioone ja h\u00fcvesid. Magistrit\u00f6\u00f6 on osa \u00fcle-eestilisest mulla elurikkuse ja funktsioonide hindamise projektist. Magistrant v\u00f5tab osa proovide kogumise ja funktsioonide m\u00f5\u00f5tmise v\u00e4lit\u00f6\u00f6dest, panustab andmeanal\u00fc\u00fcsi ning v\u00f5tab osa p\u00f5llumajanduse elurikkamate praktikate poole suunamisest. Kasulikud mikroobid (sh m\u00fckoriisaseened, m\u00fcgarbakterid ja taime kasvu soodustavad bakterid) varustavad taimi toitainete ja veega, ning tagavad patogeeni- ja p\u00f5uakindluse. Kultuurtaimi on aastak\u00fcmneid aretatud\u00a0 k\u00f5rge mulla toitainete ja taimekaitsevahendite sisalduse foonil, mist\u00f5ttu t\u00e4nap\u00e4evased sordid on v\u00e4hem s\u00f5ltuvad kasulikest mikroobidest. V\u00e4etiste ja pestitsiidide kasutamise piiramisel v\u00f5ivad sellised kultuurtaimed olla ebaefektiivsed toitainete omastamisel ning vastuv\u00f5tlikud haigustekitajatele. Samas mineraalv\u00e4etiste rohke kasutamine soodustab seenhaiguste levikut ja kultuuride haiguskindlus on oluline saagi m\u00e4\u00e4raja. Magistrit\u00f6\u00f6 eesm\u00e4rgiks on saada \u00fclevaade Eestis kasvavate p\u00f5llukultuuride mikrobioomi seisundist eri v\u00e4etusfoonidel kasutades molekulaarseid meetodeid. Et katseliselt on n\u00e4idatud ka m\u00fckoriisaseente mitte-toitelisi h\u00fcvesid taimedele, n\u00e4iteks patogeenikindlus, p\u00f5uataluvus ja kaitse herbivooride eest, on m\u00fckoriisse s\u00fcmbioosi olulisus tuleviku globaalmuutuste kontekstis ebaselge. Bakalaureuset\u00f6\u00f6 uurib kirjanduse p\u00f5hjal m\u00fckoriisaseente erinevaid funktsioone ning annab hinnangu kuidas nende olulisus erinevate globaalmuutuste tegurite kontekstis muutuda v\u00f5iks. Samuti arvatakse, et globaal- ja kliimamuutuste kontekstis v\u00f5ib Eestis tulevikus leida oluliselt suuremal hulgal erinevaid taimede patogeene ning paljud neist j\u00f5uavad meieni l\u00f5unapoolsetelt aladelt. Sellest tulenevalt muutuvad abin\u00f5ud taimede haiguskindluse t\u00f5stmiseks j\u00e4rjest olulisemaks. Bakalaureuset\u00f6\u00f6 uurib kirjanduse p\u00f5hjal m\u00fckoriisse s\u00fcmbioosi m\u00f5ju taimede haiguskindlusele, eriti uute haigustekitajate kontekstis, andes soovitused l\u00e4hitulevikus potentsiaalselt Eestisse levivate kahjuritega toime tulemiseks. Kuigi t\u00e4nap\u00e4evased p\u00f5llumajandustavad m\u00f5jutavad tugevalt seente elurikkust, on nende m\u00f5ju taimede kasvule ja mulla funktsioneerimisele endiselt ebapiisavalt uuritud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See bakalaureuset\u00f6\u00f6 uurib, kuidas seente mitmekesisus ja ni\u0161istruktuur p\u00f5llumajandusmuldades m\u00f5jutavad taimede kasvu, m\u00fckoriisset kolonisatsiooni ja peamisi mulla funktsioone. Projekt \u00fchendab Eesti p\u00f5llumajandusmaadelt kogutud andmed kontrollitud potikatsega, kus uuritakse seente mitmekesisuse ja ni\u0161imahu gradienti. Kasutades ITS-p\u00f5hist sekveneerimist, tehakse n\u00e4htamatu n\u00e4htavaks ning seotakse varjatud maa-alune seente elurikkus \u00f6kos\u00fcsteemi funktsioonidega.
